Please make sure to send us clean items in good condition.
It is very much apreciated if you categorise the items you are sending us; the most time-consuming part of our work has become sorting donations.
We advise you fold clothes horizontally, like they do in stores, sort them according to kind (e.g. short sleeve t-shirts), gender and size, and place them in plastic bags, preferably transparent ones, keeping them flat. The idea is that volunteers can be able to just pick up the packages and sort them immediately, hleping them be as efficient as can be.
We ask you please keep socks and shoes in pairs. As far as shoes are concerned, we would prefer you write the gender and size of the shoes on a piece of paper and stick them on the shoes or the bag the shoes are in.
Before you send your package, make sure to write its contents on it. (clothes, sleeping bags etc)
